All About Me

Hi, I’m Kyriakos — founder of Mindful Harvests, a first-generation Greek-American raised between the energy of New York City and the deep-rooted traditions of my family’s farm life in Greece.

Growing up, I spent summers in the Greek countryside, running through the fields and learning how food was grown, gathered, and shared with love. On weekends back home, I remember our drives out to Long Island, where I’d stare out the window at the endless rows of farmland. Those moments left a lasting impression on me.

As I got older, my father began a garden at our Long Island home. What started as a few backyard vegetables slowly transformed into a full-blown garden that fed our family year after year. We built a chicken coop. We raised hens. We experimented, failed, learned, and kept growing. Our home became a living classroom in sustainable living—and it sparked something in me that has only grown stronger with time.

Now, as I prepare to start a family of my own with my beautiful partner, my heart is pulling me in a clear direction: to share these lessons with the world, especially with the next generation.

I believe children learn best not by being told—but by doing. Like the seeds we plant in the ground, healthy habits, values, and knowledge take root when they’re nurtured from a young age. Through gardens, kitchens, and small hands-on projects, I’ve seen firsthand how those roots can grow into a lifetime of wisdom and wellness.

Mindful Harvests is my way of giving back—creating tools, lessons, and joyful experiences for families who want to grow something meaningful together. My hope is to help plant the seeds of a healthier, more connected future for our kids—and to build a community that grows alongside them.

Let’s raise something beautiful, one season at a time.
